The client, a physiotherapist working from home, required a layout that could accommodate a professional practice alongside private domestic life.
The principal challenge was to establish a clear boundary between these uses within the same apartment. The practice needed a defined area, while the home needed to retain the openness and connection to the planted outdoor space visible in the completed interior.
CcBcN Architecture placed the treatment room beside the entrance and organised the domestic accommodation around a larger open area. The kitchen occupies one edge, while furniture defines dining, reading and sitting areas without additional partitions. A chaise longue beside the outdoor doors establishes a focal point.
The completed refurbishment combines an enclosed professional zone with a connected domestic interior, retaining exposed materials and a direct relationship with the outdoor space.
